Welcome to my page! I am the music teacher at Lafe Nelson. I have been at Lafe since '93, and besides teaching music, I've also been an instructional aide, and taught Kindergarten, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade in the regular education classroom. While I loved teaching in the regular classroom, once I began teaching music, I realized that was my true passion, and I hope I can keep doing it for a long time to come. I'm excited everyday to get to share music with your children.

4th Grade Patriotic, I Love America Concert
Wednesday, November 5th at 6:30 pm @David M. Player Center For the Arts
Tickets for the evening show are $3 per person. A few weeks before the show, tickets will be availabe @https://saffordcfa.ticketleap.com or that evening at the door (credit card only.) We will be honoring our Veterans so Veterans plus one guest will be admitted at no charge (ID required.) There is also no charge for performers and children 5 & under.
Should you be unable to attend the 6:30 show, there will be a “dress rehearsal” at 10:30 for the student body. Family is welcome, but everyone must sign for a visitor’s pass at Lafe Nelson prior to the show. NO ADMITTANCE WITHOUT A VISITOR’S PASS. Visitor's passes will be available at the LNS office a few days before the show. The CFA doors will be locked at 10:30. No admittance after they are locked so don’t be late.
Wednesday evening, all students need to be dropped off at the back door of the CFA between 6 and 6:15. It would be great if they could wear patriotic colors.
