What goes on in the Media Center all day? To start with, it isn't the library that your parents or grandparents visited. We rarely say "shush." It is a busy place for kids and teachers to find their favorite books and much, much more! We also have tables where students can do their school work, or sit on the couch and read. Students can play chess or checkers on one side of the library, and color or draw on the other side. We also have educational games, puzzles, and maps. Students can also sit and visit quietly, especially when it's hot or cold outside. We like to think of the Media Center as the "heartbeat" of the school.
